Exalted Rulers Message:
Dear Members, I would like to thank all those who helped make the installation a wonderful event.  It could not have turned out
nicer!
I would like to remind everyone that we have our Mother’s Day Brunch on May 11th from 8:00 am to 11:00 am.  The cost will be
$7.00 per person, with moms and children under 8 eating for free.
Jewish American Night will be held on May 13th at 6:00 pm.  Prime Rib will be served.  Come on out to support our nationality
nights!  Tickets are on sale at the bar for $12.00.
Please watch your bulletin for more upcoming events, the Social Activities Committee is working on some really fun things to add
some excitement to Saturday nights.  I hope to see you at the club!

Fraternally yours,
Mark A. Teixeira, Exalted Ruler
Secretaries Message:
Dues by this time should have been paid…  If your card does not have a cream colored backside to it, you owe for this year. I have
been getting the cards out in the mail ASAP so unless you sent your dues in after April 11th you owe.  For each member that is
late the lodge has to spend $13.50 for fees to state and to grand lodge, that affects our cash flow.
Your old card will not work in the lodge locks!!
I must apologize to the members for the tardiness in the pulling of the pool numbers, As Larry the Cable Guy would say I will “Git er
done”.

Fraternally,
John E. Cotton, Secretary, P.E.R.

Charity Begins at Home:
Our Lodge supports the Mass. Elk’s Association Annual raffle as a major fundraiser to support all Elk’s charities.  It is one of the
easiest ways for our Lodge to raise money for our charity programs without taking the money from our lodge budget.  The more
we sell, the we get back from the State Association.  It’s very simple.  If EVERY member in the state bought 2 tickets, a $4.
investment for Charity, it would generate around $200,000. statewide for distribution to the lodges.  Distribution money is based
on the percentage of tickets that each lodge sells.  Your help is needed...consider yourself asked to help out...Buy your book of
tickets, share the book with family and friends and who knows, maybe you could win the $15,000 or one of the other prizes!!!
